After nearly 10 years on the market, reality star Kim Kardashian’s mega-popular mobile application “Kim Kardashian: Hollywood” is shutting down.
The game was reportedly generating $700,000 in day in in-app microtransactions soon after its launch in June 2014.
According to developer Glu Mobile, “Kim Kardashian: Hollywood” received 145 million downloads and made $160 million in revenue during its first two years of business.
Following the demonstrated success of the game, Electronic Arts purchased Glu Mobile for $2 billion in 2021.
