Social media video site YouTube is launching a new artificial intelligence feature that will allow users to utilize the voices of their favorite artists, the company announced Thursday.

The feature will let users auto-generate tracks up to 39 seconds long in the style and voice of some of their favorite artists.

The tool will notably only use the voices of artists YouTube has struck a partnership with, such as Sia, John Legend, and Demi Lovato.

YouTube said the feature will only be usable in its YouTube Shorts feature as the company aims to compete against fellow short-form video platform TikTok.
