Payment processing giant Mastercard has severed some of its ties with cryptocurrency exchange Binance, ending its Binance-branded cards in Latin America and the Middle East.
The Binance Mastercards previously allowed holders to purchase goods using cryptocurrency.
Binance said the move will only affect less than 1% of its users in the impacted markets.
The crypto-based cards will officially stop working on Sept. 21.
