On Monday, Google Cloud announced the launch of new artificial intelligence search functions catered directly to health care workers.
According to Google, the new tool will allow medical professionals to compile information from electronic medical records, clinical notes and documents all into one place.
“While it should save time to be able to do that search, it should also prevent frustration on behalf of clinicians and make sure that they get to an answer easier,” said Google Cloud’s Cloud AI Senior Director of Product Management Lisa O’Malley.
The AI tool will reportedly assist with billing codes, clinical trial eligibility and other tedious tasks.
