On Wednesday, technology giant Google unveiled its new Pixel 8 smartphone during a press event in New York City.
According to Google, the device’s new G3 Tensor chip will help power the phones with increased artificial intelligence capabilities and become the “first phone of the generative AI era.”
The Pixel 8 will purportedly be able to provide users with AI news summaries, photo editing, phone call fielding and more.
The standard version of the phone will reportedly start at $699 and launch in three different colors.
