High demand for popstar Taylor Swift’s upcoming Eras Tour concert film has reportedly sent AMC Entertainment stock soaring.
The rising stock came following Friday’s announcement that Swift’s film had already sold $100 million in presale tickets ahead of its official premiere.
As a result, AMC shares rose by 11.5% during afternoon trading Friday.
According to AMC, the popularity of the concert film “has been incredible from the moment it was first announced.”
