Warner Bros.’ ‘Blue Beetle’ is aiming to dethrone the studio’s cultural juggernaut ‘Barbie’ at the U.S. box office.
‘Blue Beetle,’ the third of four Warner Bros.’ superhero movies slated for release this year, is expected to pull in between $22 million and $32 million at the domestic box office this weekend.
Meanwhile, ‘Barbie’ is expected to bring in between $17 million and $22 million during its fifth week in theaters.
No matter which movie takes the top spot, it’s certainly a winning weekend for Warner Bros.
