According to a new filing with the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, electric automaking giant Tesla has issued a recall for 120,000 vehicles.
The affected cars reportedly have a door closure defect that may lead to unlocked doors opening during a crash.
Tesla has subsequently issued an over-the-air software update to fix the issue.
The news comes just one week after Tesla issued a 2 million vehicle recall over defects in its autopilot feature.
