The Miami sun gives home to the most successful start-ups today.

Business startups across the United Stated have been following a notorious increase throughout the last three years, leading up to a busy 2016, where activity went upward and left a hope-full outlook for 2017.

This three-year upward trend is heartening for the local economy as 310 out of every 100,000 adults are starting a new businesses each month in the U.S., enhancing a market that has much to offer for local industries and their revenues.

However, despite the potential start-up businesses across the country are showing, cities were it was expected to home the attempt of new entrepreneur projects did not live up to its potential as the Kauffman Startup Activity Index of may 2017 shows; the 39 Miami metro areas are tied with Los Angeles as the places with the highest rate of new entrepreneurs, which means 560 out of 100,000 adults a month start a business in Miami, meaning that there are nearly 108 startups for every thousand employer businesses in Miami, surpassing important start-up plazas of the past such as San Jose and San Francisco, who have proved their populations is dedicating full-time to their business and considerably less in entrepreneurship as the activity dropped from 0.46 to 0.37 and 0.31 to 0.25 percent in San Jose and San Francisco from 2016 to 2017.

Tech and talent tools: Miami’s objective

Even though Miami´s boost is a considerable variable for the business and employment industries, it´s biggest objective is still producing major improvement for the next three or four years, as technology and talent pools must be enhanced so these start-up and entrepreneur companies can turn into venture-backed startups

The Kauffman reports states that the five metropolitan areas with the highest startup activity were Miami, Austin, Los Angeles, San Diego and Las Vegas, in that order. Among the largest states of the United States, these five had the highest startup activity in 2017: California, Texas, Florida, Arizona and Colorado.
