On Sunday, Premier League football team Manchester United announced it sold a 25% stake in the club to billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe.
As part of the deal, Ratcliffe will “provide an additional $300 million intended to enable future investment into Old Trafford,” the team’s stadium.
However, the deal is still pending approval from the Premier League before it can go through.
Manchester United was valued as the second most valuable soccer team in the world back in May of this year.
