Universal Studios has announced that the Harry Potter-themed section of its new park, Epic Universe, will include an ambitious ride called “Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry.” This attraction will transport guests from 1920s Paris to the British Ministry of Magic using the Metro-Floo system, a reference to the magical Floo Network. The ride will feature a thrilling chase involving Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, and Higgledy the house elf as they pursue Dolores Umbridge after she attempts to escape from a trial at the Ministry.
In addition to the ride, the Wizarding World of Harry Potter — Ministry of Magic will offer guests an immersive experience in a recreated 1920s Parisian wizarding district, Place Cachee. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore Haussmann-style buildings, shop for magical items, and cast spells using interactive wands. The area will also feature live entertainment, including “Le Cirque Arcanus,” a theater show inspired by “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them,” showcasing magical creatures and special effects.
The new themed area will include various dining options, such as Cafe L’Air De La Sirene and Le Gobelet Noir, catering to different tastes with French cuisine and darker-themed dishes. Merchandise related to the Ministry of Magic will be available at several shops, with previews already on sale at the Universal Epic Universe Preview Center. This new addition marks the third Harry Potter-themed area at Universal Orlando Resort, following Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley.
