As superstar singer Beyoncé continues her highly lauded Renaissance tour across the U.S., the pop star asked fans to come to her concerts decked out in silver outfits for her birthday performance – a request that reportedly boosted Etsy sellers’ sales in turn.
According to Etsy’s figures, the site experienced a 25% uptick in searches for disco hats and a 25% increase in searches for silver tops following Beyonce’s request.
Sellers who advertised their wares with “renaissance tour” in the product description also reported increased traffic to their profiles and higher sales.
