According to new data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the number of jobs available in the United States reached a two-year low during the month of October.
The labor report revealed that there were 8.7 million jobs available in October, or 1.3 jobs per every unemployed person in the United States.
This marks the lowest number of available jobs seen since March 2021.
In contrast, job availability hit its peak during March 2022 when there were 12.03 million available positions nationwide.
