Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei is reportedly scheduled to meet with White House chief of staff Susie Wiles on Friday, signaling a potential breakthrough in the artificial intelligence startup’s dispute with the Pentagon.
The meeting occurs as U.S. President Trump’s administration recognizes the advanced capabilities of Anthropic’s new AI model, Mythos, particularly its sophisticated cybersecurity breach abilities, according to the report.
Announced on April 7, Mythos is being deployed as part of Anthropic’s “Project Glasswing,” a controlled initiative allowing select organizations to use the unreleased Claude Mythos Preview model for defensive cybersecurity purposes.
Co-founder Jack Clark mentioned that Anthropic also discussed Mythos with the Trump administration on Monday, even after the Pentagon severed its business relationship with the U.S. AI lab due to a contract dispute.
