On Thursday, video social media platform YouTube unveiled a suite of new artificial intelligence-powered tools set to help its creators make new content.
“We want to make it easier for everyone to feel like they can create, and we believe generative AI will make that possible,” said YouTube CEO Neal Mohan.
One new feature, Dream Screen, lets users implement AI-generated videos or images into the backgrounds of YouTube’s TikTok rival, YouTube shorts.
YouTube will also purportedly offer an AI-backed brainstorming tool to help users come up with new ideas for their content.
