According to new reports, technology giant Google will begin deleting inactive accounts beginning this Friday.
The company will purportedly only delete accounts that have been inactive for two years or longer.
Google previously announced its plans to delete unused accounts back in August of this year.
“We want to protect your private information and prevent any unauthorized access to your account even if you’re no longer using our services,” Google said in a statement.
