Billionaire Jeff Bezos’ space exploration company Blue Origin is slated to launch its first rocket in over a year, the company announced Tuesday.
Blue Origin will launch its New Shepard NS-24 as a cargo mission carrying scientific payloads and research into orbit.
This marks New Shepard’s first launch attempt since September 2022.
“We’re targeting a launch window that opens on Dec. 18 for our next New Shepard payload mission,” Blue Origin said on social media.
