When it comes to expanding its business, retailing giant Walmart has let the cat out of the bag that it’s expanding its foothold in the pet industry.
Walmart is expected to open its very first pet center, equipped with an in-house veterinarian and dog grooming services, in Georgia next Wednesday.
While the initial location will serve as a pilot, Walmart is predicted to launch various more pet center locations in the near future to cash-in on the lucrative pet services business.
As a brand-new foray for Walmart, the retailer’s move is begging the question that maybe you can in fact teach an old dog new tricks.
