U.S. airline Delta Air Lines is laying off some of its corporate staffers in order to cut costs, the company announced Wednesday.
However, the company failed to reveal the exact amount of positions it would be slashing.
Delta went on to say that its flight attendants and pilots would be unaffected by the layoffs.
“While we’re not yet back to full capacity, now is the time to make adjustments to programs, budgets and organizational structures across Delta to meet our stated goals — one part of this effort includes adjustments to corporate staffing in support of these changes,” Delta said in a statement.
