Solar panel manufacturer Canadian Solar is set to build a new $800 billion factory in southeast Indiana, the company announced Monday.
The new facility will reportedly employ approximately 1,200 workers.
The factory, which is expected to be inaugurated in 2025, will be capable of producing 20,000 solar panels per day.
“Establishing this factory is a key milestone that will enable us to better serve our U.S. customers with the most advanced technology in the industry,” said Canadian Solar CEO Shawn Qu.
