With acting jobs on pause amid ongoing the SAG-AFTRA strike, actors and celebrities have headed to video-sharing website Cameo in droves.

On Cameo, consumers can request personalized videos from actors for a fee set by the celebrity, which can range anywhere between $1 and $1,500.

According to Cameo CEO Steven Galanis, more than 2,400 performers have joined Cameo since the strike began on July 14, an increase of 137%.

The platform has become an easy way for actors to make extra money while waiting for the strike’s resolution.
