U.S. financial giant JPMorgan Chase is set to offer online payroll as part of its roster of services, the company announced Friday.
The bank reportedly tapped fintech firm Gusto to help develop the new technology behind the payroll services.
The move is expected to attract more small business customers to JPMorgan Chase.
“If you’re a customer of Chase payments solutions, you can go to payroll from the same exact place you do banking,” said Gusto CEO Josh Reeves. “All that stuff becomes easier when it’s in a one stop shop-type environment.”
