Social media application TikTok has officially entered the world of online shopping.
On Tuesday, TikTok announced it had implemented new features that allow users to shop products directly through live videos or content posted on the platform.
TikTok will also reportedly offer a logistics and shipping fulfillment service for sellers known as “Fulfilled by TikTok,” as well as partnership opportunities for the platform’s creators.
“With TikTok Shop, we’re giving people a place to experience the joy of discovering and purchasing new products without leaving the app,” the company wrote in a blog post.
