Microsoft has announced that it will allow PlayStation to keep to keep Activision Blizzard’s Call of Duty series if its $75 billion deal for Activision is completed.
Sony had been a major opponent of the megamerger which finally closed last week.
Over the past year and a half, Microsoft made agreements with Nintendo, Nvidia and other rivals — but not Sony — to make Call of Duty accessible to them over a 10-year period.
With the agreement, Sony dropped its opposition to the merger.
