According to Apple experts and aficionados, the technology giant is expected to stop using its proprietary Lightning charging system in favor of USB-C on its upcoming iPhone 15 release.
Just last year, the European Union voted that phone makers would need to implement USB-C charging on all of their devices by the year 2024.
Now, it looks like Apple is set to launch USB-C for the entire global market.
The move would be Apple’s first foray into universal charging.
