Days after Tom Hanks and his wife, Rita Wilson, announced they were both diagnosed with coronavirus, Wilson shared her own quarantine playlist.
All over the world people continue in quarantine because of the coronavirus strike. So actress Rita Wilson decided to try to brighten everyone’s lives just a little bit.
After announcing she and her husband, Tom Hanks, were both diagnosed with COVID-19 when they were originally in Australia doing preproduction work on a film about singer Elvis Presley, in which Hanks is set to play Presley’s manager, she turned to Spotify and made a playlist for people self quarantining in the midst of her own. She thought of “Something that might relate to isolation, perhaps?.” She asked for suggestions and the result did not disappoint.
This is how she created “Quarantunes”, which features 32 songs and runs for just more than two hours, with classics like Eric Carmen’s “All By Myself” and The Beatles’ “I’m So Tired,” to more modern hits like Miley Cyrus’ “The Climb,” Destiny Child’s “Survivor” and MC Hammer’s “U Can’t Touch This.”
Please enjoy and stay safe!
