U.S. automaker Cadillac’s signature Escalade luxury model has gotten an all-electric makeover – and a major boost in power to boot.
The new electric-powered Cadillac Escalade IQ will reportedly produce 750 horsepower, some 10 horsepower more than the brand’s most powerful combustion engine Escalade model.
The Escalade IQ will go from 0 to 60 in less than five seconds, Cadillac said Wednesday.
The revamped luxury SUV comes as part of Cadillac’s initiative to only produce zero-emission passenger vehicles by the year 2035.
