Today, websites like X, ChatGPT, Amazon Web Services and Canva are down due to a technical issue with Cloudflare.
Visitors encountered a message stating an “internal server error on Cloudflare’s network” and were prompted to “please try again in a few minutes.”
The company characterizes itself as “one of the world’s largest networks,” serving as a content delivery network and a distributed DNS system that protects website owners from traffic surges, comment spam, and service attacks.
In response to the outage, Cloudflare released a statemet saying: “Update – We have made changes that have allowed Cloudflare Access and WARP to recover. Error levels for Access and WARP users have returned to pre-incident rates. We have re-enabled WARP access in London. We are continuing to work towards restoring other services.”
Today’s outage follows the company’s announcement yesterday of its plans to acquire rival tech firm Replicate, aiming to “Build the Most Seamless AI Cloud for Developers.”
“With Replicate, developers will be able to discover any model they want from one of the industry’s largest catalogs, deploy it instantly on Cloudflare’s global network, and build an entire full-stack application in one place. Cloudflare will be the most seamless, all-in-one shop for AI development,” Matthew Prince, co-founder and CEO of Cloudflare stated.
Cloudflare’s revenue for the twelve months ending September 30, 2025, was $2.013 billion.
