The U.S. Internal Revenue Service is aiming to expedite the way it delivers tax refunds to American taxpayers, the agency revealed Wednesday.
The IRS will reportedly digitize all of its paper tax returns by the year 2025, slashing processing times in half.
This modernized methodology will purportedly allow the IRS to deliver tax refunds four weeks quicker than before.
The agency also revealed it will be making some of its most-used forms available in online and mobile formats to help facilitate taxpayers’ filing processes.
