The Bureau of Labor Statistics released the Consumer Price Index (CPI) today, which showed that excluding food and energy, consumer prices rose 0.2% over last month and 2.6% over last year.
On a headline basis, consumer prices rose 0.3% over the prior month and 2.7% over the prior year.
