Noah Deledda is an American artist that turns old tin cans into pretty neat works of art.

What is your definition of art? What do you believe defines an artist?

When you browse the webpage of American sculptor Noah Deledda, you will find a very inspiring Aristotle quote that reads: “The aim of art is to represent not the outward appearance of things, but their inward significance”. Deledda does just that.

Born in Detroit, Michigan, in August 1978, Noah has focused his work on painting, sculpture, and divergent printmaking. However, it is his inspiring creative process of re-inventing an ordinary product like aluminum cans has put him in the spotlight.

With a method that combines precision, symmetry, balance, creativity, and hand-made design, Deledda challenges the way we look at things and give them an all-new image, meaning and narrative, urging us to look at the world through a different lens.

“My goal, and reason for ever making art, is to raise awareness of the importance of the creative process. This drives me to create work that challenges perception and inspires curiosity,” Deledda has stated.

Check out his art here through his YouTube channel.
