On Thursday, popular fitness bike company Peloton announced it’s teamed up with blockbuster social media platform TikTok to make content for the at-home exercise giant.
The collaboration will see a fitness-themed center on TikTok named “#TikTokFitness Powered by Peloton.”
“On the one hand, there’s a longer-term goal around changing perceptions around who Peloton is for to multiple different types of audiences and I think one of the real strengths of TikTok … is that it increasingly reaches everyone, including the younger audience,” said Peloton Vice President of Consumer Marketing Oli Snoddy.
Peloton shares closed 14% higher following news of the partnership.
