After a drawn out legal drama, technology giant Microsoft has been cleared to complete its acquisition of major video game developer Activision-Blizzard.
In a Friday filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Microsoft indicated Activision has become a fully-owned subsidiary of the technology company.
The news comes after a U.K. court finally removed antitrust red tape that had prevented Microsoft from completing the merger after the company agreed to remove certain cloud gaming rights.
The deal was originally valued at $69 billion when first publicly announced.
