On Thursday, U.S. technology giant Microsoft announced the first major update to the Windows keyboard in nearly 30 years.
Microsoft’s new “Copilot” key will allow users to access the company’s OpenAI-backed artificial intelligence assistant with just a simple tap.
The key will reportedly be positioned on the keyboard’s right side near the space bar and Alt key.
“This will not only simplify people’s computing experience but also amplify it, making 2024 the year of the AI PC,” said Microsoft Executive Vice President Yusuf Mehdi in a blog post.
