Technology giant Meta’s Ray-Ban smart glasses have failed to resonate with users, with less than 10 percent of purchased pairs of lenses still experiencing regular use.
The product, which launched to the public in September 2021, was supposed to allow users to listen to music and snap live photos while wearing the lenses.
However, the inaugural version of Meta’s Ray-Ban smart glasses have been reportedly plagued by battery life and connectivity issues, as well as issues with voice commands and audio quality, since the launch.
The failure of the smart glasses is expected to impact Meta’s design plans for the product’s second generation.
