U.S. technology giant Amazon is implementing ads throughout its Amazon Prime streaming service, the company announced Friday.
Beginning in 2024, Amazon Prime subscribers will experience limited ads when streaming movies and TV shows on the platform.
However, users can opt to pay an additional $2.99 per month to remove ads from their service.
“To continue investing in compelling content and keep increasing that investment over a long period of time, starting in early 2024, Prime Video shows and movies will include limited advertisements,” said the company in a social media post.
