When it comes to bank franchise locations, it seems supermarket regional banks are falling short from meeting their financial goals.
According to Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation data, banks closed 10.7% of their in-store supermarket branches between June 30 of 2022 and this year.
This marks a closure rate seven times higher than other bank locations.
If this trend continues, the next time you’re looking to withdraw cash at your local grocery store, you may be out of luck.
