Rising prices may just squeeze orange juice lovers out of their favorite breakfast beverage.
On Tuesday morning, orange juice future prices hit a record price of $3.69 per pound.
The surging prices were caused by hurricanes and other meteorological phenomena hitting Florida’s orange supply crop, bringing it to its lowest output in 80 years.
Now, U.S. consumers’ morning meals could turn from sweet and sour to just plain sour.
