A digital glitch that caused some Wells Fargo customers’ direct deposits to disappear from their accounts has been resolved, the bank announced Saturday.
The problem reportedly began on Thursday and only affected a “limited amount” of customers, a Wells Fargo spokesperson said.
The spokesperson also said the disappearing deposits were caused by an isolated technical error, not a cybersecurity attack.
Any Wells Fargo customers that are still unable to locate their direct deposits in their account should reach out directly to the bank for additional assistance.
