Automaking giant Toyota issued a voluntary recall for 168,000 of its 2022 and 2023 Tundra models, the company announced Thursday.
The recall affects both hybrid and traditional combustion engine Tundra models.
According to Toyota, these models possess a plastic fuel tube that could “rub against a brake line and develop a fuel leak,” leading to a fire.
The automaker has pledged to replace the part for free and offer affected customers’ complimentary protective services and clamps at their local dealership.
