Luxury watch manufacturer Rolex is set to buy Swiss watch retailer Bucherer, Rolex announced Thursday.
Bucherer will keep its name and continue operating its more than 100 stores independently.
Meanwhile, Rolex will have increased control on how its timepieces are sold through the acquisition.
The deal marks Rolex’s first major move into the retail space.
