U.S. workers’ average salary demands have reached a record high this year, the New York Federal Reserve employment survey revealed Monday.
According to the survey, workers required an average $78,645 annual salary to be incentivized to switch jobs in Q2.
This marks an 8% year-over-year increase, and a 22% increase since 2020.
The average full-time salary offered by U.S. employers has reportedly increased to $69,475 per year in turn.
