Tech giant Apple is the first brand to surpass $1 trillion in value, a 15% increase from last year, and remains the most valuable brand in the world for the third consecutive year, according to a global ranking from Kantar’s BrandZ.
“Apple has been consistently able to deliver products, services and messaging, which has closely resonated with the consumers, creating a strong fan-following for the brand,” Counterpoint analyst Varun Mishra said.
Alphabet’s Google came in No. 2 with a valuation of $753 billion, while Microsoft ranked third at $713 billion. The report also said chipmaker Nvidia’s value has almost tripled since last year and entered the list’s ranking of top 10 most valuable brands in the world for the first time. It’s now at No. 6 with a brand value of more than $200 billion.
Oracle, an AI-powered cloud services company, also showed up on Kantar’s list for the first time. Its brand value increased 58% to $145 billion, bringing it to No. 9 on the list.
