U.S. homebuyers are reportedly seeking to move away from high-cost metropolises and toward areas located in the South and Southwest as home owning costs surge around the country.
According to data from Redfin.com, more than one-quarter of all site searches by potential homebuyers are for cities where the consumer doesn’t live, Redfin’s highest percentage since it started tracking this data in 2017.
Homebuyers purportedly have shown most interest in Las Vegas, Nevada, Phoenix, Nevada, and Tampa, Florida, as their top potential living destinations.
Likewise, the majority of homebuyers searching for properties outside of their local areas stem from high-density and high-cost areas like New York City, San Francisco, and
