Cancer centers across the United States are reportedly suffering from a severe lack of chemotherapy drugs, said an Oct. 5 study.
According to the research, 72% of centers are missing the chemo drug carboplatin.
Meanwhile, another 59% reported shortages of the chemo drug cisplatin.
The National Comprehensive Cancer Network went on to find that 86% of all major cancer centers are missing at least one key chemo drug.
