Recording artist Taylor Swift has decided to take her Eras Tour off the stage and onto the big screen, breaking AMC Theaters’ single-day pre sale record in turn.
According to AMC, Swift’s newly announced concert movie sold $26 million in tickets on Thursday alone.
This shatters AMC’s previous record set by Spider Man: No Way Home, which pulled in $16.9 million during one day on pre sale back in 2021.
AMC will also reportedly serve as the concert film’s distributor in a new directional shift for the national cinema chain.
