Employees from Walgreens and other U.S. pharmacy chains, like CVS and Rite Aid, are reportedly planning a nationwide walkout between Monday and Wednesday of this week.
According to its organizers, the employees hope the walkout will force the pharmacies to implement the changes asked by its retail pharmacy workers.
Pharmacy staff say that their working conditions at the chains have put the wellbeing of both workers and patients at risk.
Workers are also expected to hold rallies outside select pharmacy locations across the country.
