According to an internal memo, the National Football League has offered voluntary buyouts to more than 200 of its full-time employees.
The NFL, which currently holds approximately 1,100 positions on its staff, reportedly offered the buyouts to qualified employees over the age of 50.
The buyout package would include three weeks of salary for every year worked at the league as well as additional bonuses.
“How we operate, where we invest our capital, and the workforce must evolve to align with these strategic priorities to best position the league for continued success,” said the NFL memo.
