South Korean automaker Hyundai Motor Company is set to begin selling its vehicles on technology giant Amazon’s e-commerce platform, the two companies announced at the 2023 Los Angeles Auto Show on Thursday.
As part of the year, Hyundai will use Amazon’s Amazon Web Services as its primary cloud service and integrate the company’s Alexa virtual assistant technology into its vehicles.
Customers will likewise be able to purchase Hyundai car parts online as part of the collaboration.
Sales of Hyundai vehicles on Amazon will reportedly begin in 2024.
