On Monday, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved two updated vaccinations against Covid-19 made by pharmaceutical manufacturers Pfizer and Moderna.
The vaccines reportedly are equipped to vaccinate against the Omicron variant XBB.1.5.
Likewise, its use has reportedly been approved for anyone over the age of 12 as well as for emergency use in children between 6 and 11.
However, the updated vaccines won’t hit the American market until a Center for Disease Control advisory panel votes on the recommendation of their use.
